As the start of my 50 state mission trip quickly approaches, the excitement builds with every day that passes. However, amid this excitement, there has been tragedy. Last week, Mr. Christopher Nocera passed away. His daughter, Molly, is one of my best friends and one of the biggest inspirations for this trip. As you know, the idea for my 50 state mission trip stemmed from my experience on the mission trip to Browning, Montana. Molly was the co-leader of that trip. Without her, that trip would not have been the same. There wasn't one specific thing that she did to make the trip so special, but her presence was what made the difference. Without her influence, my trip likely wouldn't be happening.
Just like Molly has impacted my life, we now have a chance to impact hers. Please keep the entire Nocera family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Also, please consider donating to the Nocera Family Fund:

Rest easy, Mr. Nocera. You will be missed.
